The ten thousand step method is an idea that states that all you need to do to boost your health is to walk at least ten thousand steps every day–this way you won’t have to work out as intensely at the gym. Walking can be great exercise and really low impact. How often have you heard “even a walk round the block everyday can save your life”?

Obviously walking ten thousand steps every single day certainly will not be simple. That’s lots of steps to take! The best part is that you probably already take the majority of those steps each day already and don’t know it yet. You could also boost the volume of steps you take by using some less than evident methods. Organize a grocery shopping list differently. Lots of men and women organize their lists according to the aisles in their stores. Organize your list in categories like dairy, meat, produce, snacks, etc. Then buy according to the order in the list. You may possibly end up criss crossing the store more than once but it’s a wonderful way to raise your step count. Instead of placing your mailbox as part of your door or installing it in a wall of your house, put it out by the curb on a post. This ensures that the very simple act of checking your mail can add a couple dozen steps each day.
